LIVING IN WATER
Call me crazy, but I bought a little bamboo desk to go across my tub so I can spend more time in water daily. My body doesn't hurt at all when I'm in water; when out, my pain fluctuates between 7 and 9 on 1-10 scale. Walking is excruciating as though my bones are grinding against each other. I walked to my apartment complex office yesterday, about 300 yards each way, and I thought I would need to call uber to get home. But I also go to the UAMS Wellness Center MWF for an hour of deep-water jogging. My feet don't touch the bottom of the pool. I can easily stay my allotted time of an hour, never stopping the jogging, running, walking, stretching, twisting, hopping and twisting simultaneously. I can contort my body any which way with ease without an iota of pain. How is that possible? How can I move my body in water when I can't roll over in bed without grunting and using great effort?
